Bucket List Trips: Hawaii

A great domestic bucket list option is Hawaii. The weather is fairly temperate year-round, so you can chase warm weather when you need it most.

Did you know Hawaii is made up of 8 main islands, with even more smaller islands and inlets?

There are so many ways to visit Hawaii. One of my favorites is with Perillo Tours. While they are known for their tours of Italy, they have also been operating in Hawaii for more than 30 years. This is a great way to “island hop” with all of your needs tended to. For example, you can experience Oahu, Maui & Kauai in one trip with your upscale hotel stays, inter-island transfers, breakfasts and some dinners, sightseeing and baggage all handled for you so all you have to do is say “Aloha” to island life.

Cruising is also a great way to experience more than one island destination. You can cruise from the mainland or fly to one of the major airports then jump on your island cruise from there.

You won’t find all-inclusives in Hawaii and for good reason. The best way to fully immerse yourself in island culture is to rent a car and explore. Try some fresh poke or shave ice, explore a national park, tour a pineapple plantation, attend a traditional Hawaiian luau, or even go snorkeling at night with manta rays. There is endless adventure throughout the islands.
